Live from Cyberspace!
The May Family and Herman, individually, wish to formally announce the public availability of their newly redesigned sites.
As with #kempiWeb, the philosophy and implementation of these sites has changed from that of a static, rarely updated model to a more dymanic and informative paradigm. Through, hopefully, frequent updates, they endeavor to provide a reliable means of remaining informed about recent events, projects, and the like in their household and lives.
Visitors are invited to stop by at their leisure.
As always, links to the family site (and those of other #kempiWeb affiliates) are available from the panel at left, while Herman's site is easily accessed via his initials at the bottom of every page he maintains.

John Adame Photography
One of our little arachnid friends enlightened us to the presence of a new domain a little over a week ago. Novelty coincidence was the first thing that came to mind. (Look, a third John adame!) However, a search of the Whois directory revealed that this was, in fact, our own John Adame!.
John has been indulging his longtime hobby for the last couple of years as an itinerant photographer on the Endurance Horse Racing circuit. He attends area races; shoots lots of film; and then sells the prints to the participants the humans at least. Some of his work has been recognized for its merit and has appeared as the cover image on at least three issues of Endurance News (June 2002, August 2003, and October 2003). Other os his photos have appeared on private sites around the net (01, 02, 03), to exhibit but a few.
We wish John well on his new enterprise.

Bennie Harold May
1921-2004
It is with great sadness that we report of the death of our great uncle, Bennie Harold May. He always delighted in seeing Rebecca whom he referred to as his "girlfriend". Many will miss his delightful presence in our lives.

Mr and Mrs. Luis Alberto Planas
Kristi and Luis were united in marriage this evening at "half past seven o'clock in the evening" in the sanctuary of Saint Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, McKinney, Collin County, Texas.
The event was an opportunity for many a May cousin to gather in celebration of this special event. Every May first cousin was in attendance; save Mike who is currently working abroad in Australia. A contingent of May second cousins was represented by Doug and Mary; Melissa and Geoff; and MIke's daughters, Tiffany and Kelly. Finally, almost the entire Dobson clan and members of the Broussard branch made the trip from Louisiana.
Numerous other relatives from the Hancock and Planas branches attended; as well as a multitude of friends and co-workers.
We wish Kristi and Luis the best as they commence their journey through life united in marriage.

Album migration
The photo album page has been fully converted. In addition to the migration of all of the existing albums to a Gallery paradigm, several new albums have been added. Notably, highlights of the 2003 Cub World and Collin and Herman's "Live Aboard" experience on the U.S.S. Lexington.
Please Note: If you had previously linked to any of the albums presented in tho old format, you will need to repair your links. The prior hierarchy has been destroyed as a result of the transition. A link to the general album page is safe; those to individual albums are not.
Primary transition nearing completion
For the most part, the transition of the site from html/tabular to xhtml/css/php is complete. There are still minor tweaks needed here and there, but the recoding and migration phase is complete for the main site. Work will now commence on the special purpose content (e.g. the TKG Alumni Resource) and the subordinate sites (e.g. The May Family).
As always your comments and feedback are appreciated.
