29 April 2004Getting a face-liftJohn Adame Photography has been redesigned. Just in time for its one month anniversary, Christy has redesigned the site to be more standards compliant and easier to navigate. No longer based on tables to provide structure, CSS has been employed to present a static background image and scrolling body content. There is also an revised introduction explaining the business. In need a free-lance photographer for your equine event? We encourage you to consider John Adame Photography. 27 April 2004Technical difficultiesOur apologies to those who may have visited the site during the past couple of days and attempted to follow any of the links to recently announced photo album additions. The albums are located on an external server, which has been experiencing router issues for the past six weeks or so. The failures came to a head during a twenty-four hour period between 20:00 Sunday evening and the same time Monday. Nevertheless, those issues have been resolved through hardware replacement and the links should now bear fruit. (Herman has posted some additional information for those that may be interested.) 25 April 2004Recent alterationsSeveral revisions and enrichments have been implemented over the last few days. In the event that infrequent visitors will miss some of them, we are taking a few moments to highlight the changes. The list of affiliated sites at left has been augmented with additional information. Where applicable, an additional symbol The May Family has published a new photo album. Images with accompanying commentary highlighting their Spring Break trip to Enchanted Rock SNA have been made available through the album page. A link to school photos for this year have been posted as well. A new category has been added to the album catalogue as well. "Contributed Album(s)" is intended as an aid to family and friends of the site who distribute large collections of images via eMail. These groups of images will be stored in this album for future reference and to allow for ready future revisitation; should such be desired. Feedback was recently received that the font color used to present the information within the navigation menu was difficult to read in some browsers. In an effort to enhance the usability, the color of the text has been altered to ease accessibility. User experience is welcome. Finally, to pull all recent changes under one entry, we restate the addition of the new feature entitled "Denizen Recognition". To recap, the purpose is to catalogue and present any published news pertaining to the #kempi habitants. (See the entry of 21 April for more information and the original announcement. 22 April 2004Celebrating the 34th Anniversary of Earth Day!The founders of #kempiWeb encourage everyone to take stock of the bounty physical, spiritual, and visual made available to us all by our home planet, the Earth. 21 April 2004Denizen RecognitionVisitors are given notice of the availability of a new feature via the navPanel at left. "Recognition" endeavors to be a centralized catalogue of news makers and makers of news. Given its nascency, the format and breadth of the current content may change over time. However, it is intended to be persistent and we welcome submissions from the audience. If you know of eligible fodder for this compilation, please do not hesitate to submit information to the site administrator(s). These submissions can be in whatever form is most convenient. Nevertheless, the more complete and specific the information the better. Also, do not feel compelled to limit possible content to recent publications. The vintage is of no importance. If denizens of #kempiWeb have been published or been mentioned in the print media at any point in their existence, we welcome enlightenment and the opportunity to laud them through this medium. As always, we appreciate any and all feedback. 13 April 2004
