27 May 2004AdameOnline.comA new web site has sprung into existence within the last week that has piqued our interest. AdameOnline.com is sparsely populated at present, but a visit to the forums suggests that this is a newly created fan site ... reunion venue ... nostalgia hangout in honor of #kempiWeb matron, Margaret Trott. Currently, there is little information at the site proper. However, the forum contains a welcome posting that reveals the hidden truth. "I have put this site up for all of Ms. Adame's friends, family and 'kids' out there. I still can't get used to the 'Trott' thing...." Enlightenment of the intended audience seems a bit limited at present as, at the time of this writing, there have been only 32 visits to the root site and five registrants on the message board. We encourage any who are interested in participating in this project to register and contribute. At the very least, it will be an interesting experiment to follow. three from the J La State Med SocRecent research activitiy conducted by a #kempiWeb member has turned up three historical articles published within the pages of the Journal of the Louisiana State Medical Society. Two were accepted and published as radiological reports (1970), while the third was presented as a case report (1972). Herman I. May (Jr.) was a contributing author for all three. These publications have been added to the denizen recognition page as permanent reference items in the "Making News" section. 22 May 2004Mr. and Mrs. Matthew R. JohnsonBrooke and Matthew were married at 1900 yesterday evening in the sanctuary of Northpark Presbyterian Church, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. A reception followed immediately after the nuptial ceremony at CityPlace. Many friends and family were in attendance and the festivities lasted until nearly midnight. We wish Brooke and Matthew the best as they embark upon their honeymoon in Barbados. May they have a long and joyous life together. (Herman has posted some pictures of the event(s) for the pleasure of visitors. Feel free to submit others for publication or share the URL for your own album.) 14 May 2004Congratulations, Jen!Best of Luck to Jen who today received her doctorate in migratory bird studies from the University of Southern Missisippi; her area of study being "Avian immune function and the energetic demands of long-distance migration". 11 May 20042004 Teacher Recognition AwardWe congratulate Mark for being recognized with a Teacher Appreciation Award by the U.
