Collin County Fourth

John and Christy will once again be celebrating the Fourth of July holiday by hosting an Adame Clan gathering at their ranch a week from this coming Sunday (03 July). The theme of this year's fare is TexMex. All local members of the family are invited to attend and bring a contributing dish. Unfortunately, Collin County is under a burn ban and there will be no pyrotechnic shows this year. :-(

Another Cover

John has had another of his photographs selected for use as the cover image for an issue of "endurance news", the flagship publication of the American endurance Ride Conference (AERC). The June 2005 issue features an image taken at the Louisiana Gumbo Ride earlier in the spring. This marks the fourth time one of John's photographs has been selected for cover use at this organization.

Return from abroad

The May Family (Garland, Texas, Clan) wishes to announce the safe return of Rebecca from travel abroad in Europe. She will be cataloguing her images in preparation for an upcoming slide show and recounting her tales over a pint at the local pub. ;-)

Isabella Rose Garcia

Peggy and Bob share fabulous news of the birth of their seventh grandchild, Isabella Rose. She arrived at 0826, today, weighing 2.89kg and measuring 49.53cm. Though the birth was by emergency caesarean, both mother and daughter are healthy and doing well.

We congratulate Kathy and Jesse on the birth of their daughter and welcome Isabella Rose to the family!
