Poppa Visiting North Texas

The various Adame households are enjoying a visit from the family patriarch during the next four days. Arriving this afternoon with grandchildren in tow, Fred is spending an extended weekend in North Texas.

Driving up from Viera, Florida, he stopped off for a brief rendez-vous in Lindale to pick-up Rebecca, Collin, Avery and Ethan. The latter have spent the last week or so visiting their grandmother, Margaret, in Tyler. The entourage arrived in Garland at approximately 1400.

Fred will be spending tonight with the Lewisville branch of the Adame Clan before establishing a base at the household of the Garland branch of the May Clan. He will be departing Monday for the return drive to Florida with Avery and Ethan, who will spending the next week in Viera.

Emerald "Emmy" Adame — 1992 - 2005

It is with a heavy heart that news of the death of Emmy is shared. She died earlier today of haemangiosarcoma. Originally diagnosed back in May, initial prognosis was guarded, but optimistic. However, it quickly became apparent that this aggressive cancer had invaded many other organs. She was given only a few weeks to live.Her condition began to deteriorate markedly last week

Emmy's remains will be cremated and she will be remembered in a private ceremony at a date as yet to be determined.
