Measuring 54.61cm in length and weighing 4.08Kg, she was delivered by Caesarian at St. Joseph's Regional Hospital in Bryan, Texas. Mother and daughter are doing well and were released from the hospital Friday, 25 July. Congratulations to Andrea and Michael on the birth of their second child. 26 July 2008Michigan BoundChristopher shares word that he has accepted a position of Stewardship Program Manager with the Michigan Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. "This job is remarkably similar to my current position except I will be responsible for TNC lands (35 preserves) throughout the state of MI, plus some lands owned by other entities and agencies that do not have the staff to properly manage their lands. There are 4-5 preserves large enough to have permanent staff assigned to them. I will be supervising those folks as well as directly managing 6-8 preserves myself. So the position is more administrative than my current job. However, the position will include plenty of on-the-ground habitat management and restoration, invasive species management, prescribed fires, and designing and implementing research projects to improve management techniques (all components of my current position)." No definite plans have been established for the official date of final migration. Musings suggest early September for initiation of the process. Banter by eMail has already initiated the early stages of planning for a Johnson Family gathering near East Lansing in "in two or three years". continue to the June 2008 archive ⇒ |
