13 August 2008ClimateChangeWater 'blogHow's that for camelText? The Climate Change Water 'blog is an ambitious project of an Adame Family cousin (first cousin, once removed) on the Adams branch, John Holley Matthews. This resource is a means for him to fulfill the third tenet of his self-professed mission: "Outreach on global climate change issues." Ideas discussed to date include such titles as "Flowing Regimes in Central Europe", "Managing Water Managers" and "Nine Challeges to Freshwater Management from Climate Change" as well as a few travelogue entries for good measure. Pay a visit and read through his thoughts on the subject and follow his travels. Better yet participate and providing feedback and comments regarding "this global phenomenon." ;-) John is a behavioral ecologist employed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) who specializes in freshwater climate change conservation. In his own words he " discuss[es] with freshwater-interested WWF staff, development agencies, other NGOs, and various countries' government staff about how climate change represents a significant break with the past in terms of both theory and praxis." continue to the July 2008 archive ⇒ |
